At the woof wag’n we recognise feeding your dogs the wrong treats can lead to poor outcomes later in life. You may think that by giving them a cheap dog biscuit is a good thing, but much on the market are industrially processed and many of the ingredients can present many health challenges later in life, such as obesity, arthritis, diabetes, allergic reactions and skin conditions. We believe that by feeding your dogs natural treats with a high percentage of fruit, veg & meat over flour, as well as natural animal products is the best way to show how much you love them without negatively affecting their health.

A healthy dog is a happy dog 

We have taken in many rescues and foster dogs over the years, some fussy, some a dustbin with fur. Over the years I came across record-holding dogs, Bramble, Adjutant and Bluey all whom carried their long lives through a meat free diet, mainly foraging in an outside environment on plants, berries, seeds & herbs. At the Woof Wag'n our passion for dogs and love for baking inspired us to create delicious vegan treats that your pets will adore. Most commercial treats have <5% of ‘proper’ ingredients to the bulk staple of flour. Ours use locally sourced fresh fruit and vegetables with a 75/25% ratio to flour and baked at low temperatures, with no added sugar, no additives or preservatives leading to lower calorie and healthier treats. Most inpawtantly all taste tested by humans and our dogs of course!

Some dogs can develop allergies or food sensitivities to ingredients such as wheat, corn and soy which can lead to dry, itchy skin and stomach upsets. This is why it is essential to give your dog only the best quality food & treats in their diet so we offer grain free alternatives, softer treats for the golden oldies too as well as hypoallergenic meat treats.

As some dogs are fussy with food and will only eat meat we have a wide range of 100% dried meat and fish treats available online & in store.
